で「というわけで私は教室を去り大学院に行って心理学者になりました。あらゆる種類の困難な環境においての子供たちや大人を研究し始めました。そしてすべての研究において、私の疑問は、この環境下ではどんな人がうまくいくのか？ そしてそれはなぜか？でした。」という意味になります。

So「それなので、というわけで」
I left the classroom,「わたしは教室を去った」です。
つまり教師を辞めた、ということですね。
, and ～「そして～」
I went to graduate school で「私は大学院へ行った」です。
graduate school で「大学院」となります。
graduate はこの意味ではグ[ラ]ジュイトゥと発音します。
例：a graduate student「大学院生」
ちなみに、undergraduate で「（普通の）大学生、学部生」です。
to become a psychologist. で「心理学者になるために」です。

I started studying kids and adults で「私は子供たちや大人たちを研究し始めた」
in all kinds of super challenging settings, で「あらゆる種類の非常にチャレンジングな環境において」です。
challenging は「困難だがやりがいのある」という意味の形容詞。
, and ～「そして～」
in every study「すべての研究において」
my question was,「私の疑問は～だった」
who is successful here and why? で「この環境ではどんな人がうまくいくのか？、そしてそれはなぜか？」です。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
