J.K. Rowling のハーバード大学の卒業式でのスピーチ（2008年）です。
That is an astonishing statement and yet proven a thousand times every day of our lives. It expresses, in part, our inescapable connection with the outside world, the fact that we touch other people’s lives simply by existing.

That is an astonishing statement and yet proven a thousand times every day of our lives. It expresses, in part, our inescapable connection with the outside world, the fact that we touch other people’s lives simply by existing.
で「それは驚くべき発言でありながら、なおかつ私たちの毎日の暮らしの中で何千回も証明されていることでもあります。ある意味、それは外部の世界との私たちの免れ得ぬ繋がりを表明しており、また、ただ存在するだけで私たちは他の人々に影響を及ぼしているという事実を表しています。」という意味になります。

That is an astonishing statement で「それは驚くべきメッセージです」です。
that は前回のプルタルコスの言葉を指しています。
astonishing は「驚くべき、ハッとさせられるような」という意味の形容詞。
statement は「述べること、声明、陳述、意見」です。
and yet ～「そうでありながら～」
(is) proven「証明されている、実証されている」
a thousand times every day of our lives.「何千回と、毎日の暮らしの中で」
It expresses ～「それは～を表現している」
, in part,「一部において、ある意味において」
our inescapable connection（with ～）「私たちの（～との）逃れられない繋がり」
inescapable イニス[ケ]イパボォで「逃れられない、免れ得ない」です。
with the outside world, で「外の世界との（つながり）」
また、
, the fact that ～「～という事実」
(that) we touch other people’s lives で「私たちは他の人々の生活に影響している」です。
touch ～ で「～に触れる」ですが、ここでは「～に触れて影響している、及んでいる」という意味合いです。
simply by existing. で「ただ存在しているだけで」です。
simply by ～ で「単に～するだけで、ただ～することによって」という意味のコロケーションです。
just by ～ とも言えます。
それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
