the greatest risk of global catastrophe で「世界的大惨事で最も大きなリスク」です。
risk は「悪いことが起きる可能性、危険性、恐れ」という意味になります。
catastrophe カ[タ]ストゥロフィで「大惨事」という意味の名詞です。
形容詞形は catastrophic カタストゥ[ラ]フィク「破滅的な、最悪の」です。
例：catastrophic damage「破滅的な被害」

doesn’t look like this. で「こんな風には見えない」です。
動画を見るとキノコ雲が映されています。

Instead, it looks like this. で「その代わりに、それはこんな感じです」です。
動画を見るとウイルスが映されています。
Instead は「その代わりに、そうではなく」という意味の副詞です。

If anything kills over 10 million people in the next few decades, で「もし何かが1000万人以上を殺すなら、今後20～30年以内に」です。
over 10 million people で「1000万人以上」です。
over ～ で「～以上」という意味になります。
decade デケイドゥで「10年」です。
century「100年」、millennium「1000年」とセットで覚えておきましょう。

it’s most likely to be ～ で「それはほぼ間違いなく～になる」です。
most likely で「ほぼ間違いなく、非常に高い可能性で」です。
likely は「可能性がある、しそうな、ありえそうな」という意味の形容詞です。
例：likely case「あり得そうな出来事」

a highly infectious virus で「感染力の高いウイルス」です。
infectious インフェクシャスで「感染性の」という意味の形容詞です。
動詞形は infect イン[フェ]クトゥで「～に感染させる」です。
virus は発音に注意しましょう。[ヴァ]イアラスとなります。

rather than a war. で「戦争よりもむしろ」です。
rather than ～ で「～よりむしろ」という意味の言い回しです。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
